Hot tub covers and accessories

Ask the Tacoma team about replacement covers and practical accessories matched to your spa. Bring the brand, model, dimensions, and a few photos so we can help narrow the fit.

Your cover does more work than you think

Heat rises.

Most of a hot tub's heat leaves through the water's surface. A good, dry cover keeps it in.

Cover buying guide

Measure before you order.

A replacement cover is a fit decision, not a one-size purchase. Gather the exact spa identity and site details first, then ask the Tacoma team to confirm the written order specifications before anything is placed.

01

Confirm the complete cover fit

Record the brand, model, approximate year, outside shell dimensions, corner shape or radius, hinge direction, and skirt length. Photos of the spa and existing cover help identify details that measurements alone can miss.

02

Plan for safe everyday access

Consider the route to the spa, step position, lighting, nearby walls or rails, and the clearance a cover lifter may need. Accessory compatibility depends on the exact spa, cover, cabinet and site.

03

Match the cover to the setting

Tell the team about wind exposure, rain, debris, how often the spa is used, and where the cover will rest when open. The best option is the one confirmed for the model and the way the space is used.

04

Review the written order

Before ordering, verify dimensions, colour, hinge and skirt details, accessories, current lead time, delivery method, installation scope, care instructions and the written warranty that applies to the selected product.

Fair questions, straight answers

The things people ask us about covers before they spend a dollar.

  • My cover still closes. Why replace it?

Old covers soak up water over time.

Wet foam stops holding heat and gets heavy.

Then your heater works harder, and you pay for it.

  • How can I tell if my cover is waterlogged?

Lift it. If it feels much heavier than it used to, water is likely inside the foam.

A sag in the middle is another sign.

  • Is my cover under warranty?

Platinum covers its Thermo Cover for 2 years against defects. Damage from misuse is not covered.

Vita Spa's warranty does not include the cover.

Bring your paperwork and we will check for you.

  • Do I really need a cover lifter?

You don't have to have one.

But covers are big, and they get heavier with age. A lifter lets one person open it with less strain on the cover.

We check the fit for your spa and your space first.

  • Where should I keep my spa chemicals?

Somewhere cool (under 95°F), dry and out of the sun.

Keep each one in its own labeled bottle, apart from the others.

Lock them away from kids and pets.

Cover and accessory questions

Practical answers for a more useful conversation with the Tacoma team.

Bring the brand, model, approximate year, outside dimensions, corner details, hinge direction and clear photos of the shell, cabinet and existing cover.

The Tacoma team still needs to confirm the final fit and availability before an order is placed.

An older cover can change shape or sag, so it should not be the only source. Confirm the spa model and shell measurements, then review the written dimensions and options for the replacement.

No universal fit should be assumed. Cabinet construction, cover design, mounting method and clearance around the spa all affect compatibility.

Inspect it for damaged seams, a poor seal, waterlogging, sagging, cracking or hardware problems.

Follow the cover manufacturer's care guidance and ask for help when safe handling or fit is uncertain.
